Hi, my name is Lorraine and I run Lorraine’s Treatment Room, formerly known as Kent Beauty and Massage. Below is my ‘about-me’ section where you will be able to discover more about who I am and my qualifications.
I am a multi award-winning, fully-qualified therapist with 25 years of experience and a love of my profession.
I love that every client is unique and each day is different. For you, my client, I am honoured that I am able to work with you on a one to one basis. I can get to know you and work with you individually, drawing up a bespoke treatment plan, to ensure you have the greatest experience and achieve the best possible results.
When you leave the salon relaxed, or out of pain, or with perfect brows, or simply less stressed from being able to talk with me, that gives me a warm glow.
I regularly update my skills and learn new ones to ensure that you receive the most effective and beneficial treatments you will find anywhere.

Combining my 25 years of experience within the industry with continuous professional development means I am highly qualified in a number of modalities. This means not only are you able to choose from an extensive range of prestige beauty, massage and holistic treatments, but that we can combine aspects of those treatments that are your favourites or that would be most beneficial to you to create a truly bespoke, personalised treatment plan. Creating your unique treatment ensures that you receive the ultimate therapy experience, especially tailored to your needs, your time and your budget.
My aim is to provide you with the very best in customer service and expertly performed, luxurious treatments that will leave you feeling relaxed, rebalanced and restored. From the minute you escape the outside world and step into the oasis of calm that is the salon, until the minute you leave, you are in the safest hands.
My attention to detail and customer focus has built a loyal clientele, many of whom have been visiting me for over twenty years.
As a professional therapist I have always followed strict hygiene practises to ensure your well-being and avoid any risk of cross-contamination. Please rest assured your safety and comfort are paramount and I have undertaken additional COVID-19 qualifications on infection control to minimise contamination or spread of disease.
Additionally I am a qualified lecturer and assessor with experience of teaching in both the private and public sectors.

I am presently working from my newly refurbished home treatment room. Here you will be able to enjoy the same treatments available at a high-street salon, and will benefit from the tranquil setting, ease of parking, and complete privacy.
The salon is a luxurious and well-equipped haven in which you can escape and truly relax. The room is warm, welcoming, professional, hygienic and comfortable. Weekend and out-of-hours appointments are no problem at all, please call or email if you would prefer a time that you can’t see listed on the website.
